Alecia Benjamin

Hello, my name is Alecia and I am excited to be a member of this wonderful team as the Office Manager at Ivory Dental. I graduated from George Brown College as a Dental Assistant level II. I have multiple years of experience in the profession in various roles. These include: Dental Assistant, Treatment Co-ordinator, and Receptionist. I was privileged to be a team member of Dr. Trevor Mair’s dental practice in Scarborough, and I hope to bring that same friendly atmosphere to Pickering. I find it very rewarding and gratifying to see the positive changes that patients experience throughout their treatments here. I look forward to meeting you soon and being of service to you.

Darshanie Persaud

Hello my name is Darshanie Persaud. When stepping into our state of the art practice you might meet me at our reception area, while assisting Dr. Wood or as I treat you as my client. After graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program, at Stafford College, I joined Dr. Wood’s fabulous team in 2012 and I love every moment. I have worked in the dental field since 1997 with experience in dental assisting and dental management. My main goal is to implement the right educational tools to make our clients’ oral health benefits their overall health. In my spare time I give back to the community by holding a position as a parent council chair at my children’s school. Through my volunteer services I use my skills to educate parents on the importance of oral health. At Ivory Dental we stress the importance of caring for overall health and I would be obliged to help any client make those changes to better oral health. That’s my job!
